Why Slow Cooking is the Best
We use our crockpot all the time, and here are the reasons we love it.
Set & Forget – A little prep goes a long way. Most of these recipes require only prepping the main ingredients and cooking them on low or high for 4 to 8 hours. Batch cook & meal prep – We cook a lot, so we try to batch cook and meal prep when we can. The crockpot is great for cooking a big batch of meat or soup that you can have for leftovers.Slow and low is the way to go – I love our Instant Pot, but I really prefer cooking things like beef and pork roast in the slow cooker. The low heat gives you the perfect fall apart, shreddable meat every time.Easy cleanup – Since you’re cooking everything in one pot, that’s all you have to clean!
A Note On the Instant Pot
In this listing, many of the recipes can be made in either the Instant Pot or slow cooker. If the recipe title notes that it is an Instant Pot recipe, the slow cooker instructions will also be included in the recipe card. Feel free to use either option and go with whatever works for you.
