As a side note, here’s your fun fact for the day – A thick-witted person can be called a cabbagehead. In Hebrew, the term “rosh kruv” (cabbagehead) implies stupidity. Feel free to use that one the next time you are looking for a unique (and funny) insult to use. You could even go as far as to call someone a stupid cabbagehead, which is the equivalent to calling someone a stupid stupidhead. You know sometimes when you get so mad you can’t even think straight or come up with an intelligent word to say? The next time you get that way just blurt out STUPID CABBAGEHEAD!! Problem solved! Ok I digress, back to the cabbage.
Sometimes a side dish is so good, it almost steals the show. That’s the case with this cabbage and sausage side dish. And it’s simple, simple, simple. That’s why we love it. Just cook up the cabbage, add in the apple, pre-cooked sausage and some seasonings and you’re done! Oh I almost forgot, top it with some bacon bits. Bacon, yay!
